In Hindi : Badisaunf Fennel is the dried ripe fruit of a perennial aromatic herbaceous plant, which grows in mild climate. In India it is grown in Gujarat, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. It is used in a wide range of dishes. Fresh fennel leaves are used in fish and pork dishes, salad dressings and stuffing. Fennel seeds are used in pickles and variety of meat preparations.
